# PET Desiccant Dryer 分子筛除湿干燥机 双语详细介绍 ## English # PET Desiccant Dryer PET Desiccant Dryer adopts twin-tower molecular sieve desiccant technology, specially designed for hygroscopic PET pellets, rPET flakes and PET preform production lines. Ambient air is first filtered to remove dust, then sent into molecular sieve adsorption tower, where water vapor is fully absorbed to generate constant low dew-point dry air (-40℃ ~ -50℃). The dry air is heated to 160–175℃ and evenly blown through the drying hopper filled with PET raw materials, taking away the bound moisture inside pellets after 4–6 hours constant-temperature drying. The damp exhaust air flows back to the dehumidifier unit. The two molecular sieve towers switch automatically: one tower adsorbs moisture for drying circulation, the other one uses high-temperature hot air to desorb and discharge water outwards for regeneration. Alternating adsorption and regeneration ensures uninterrupted supply of dry hot air all day long. This equipment can reduce PET moisture content below 50ppm, effectively avoid material hydrolysis, bubbles, haze and brittleness of PET preforms during high-temperature injection molding. Equipped with thermal insulation agitating drying hopper, it prevents PET pellets from softening and sticking at high temperature.
