### Working Principle of Gravity Feeder
1. **Core driving force: gravity self-flow** It relies entirely on the self-weight of raw materials as the power source, no forced pressurization or fan air delivery. Materials stored in the upper hopper fall downward naturally under gravity. 2. **Flow rate control structure** At the bottom discharge outlet, there are adjustable baffles, gate valves, metering screws or sliding stoppers. By changing the opening size of the outlet, the falling cross-section of materials is adjusted to stably control feeding speed and output volume. 3. **Uniform blanking & buffer stabilization** Internal buffer plates, flow splitting ribs are usually installed inside the hopper. They prevent material bridging, arching and uneven blanking caused by material accumulation; loose granular/pellet materials slide smoothly along the inner inclined wall. 4. **Continuous feeding matching downstream equipment** The steady falling material directly drops into the feeding port of extruders, injection molding machines, mixers or drying equipment, realizing continuous, constant proportional feeding without extra conveying power. ### Corresponding Chinese 工作原理简述 重力式供料器完全依靠物料自身重力实现下料： 1. 上方料仓储存颗粒、粒料原料，物料自重向下自然滑落； 2. 底部出料口配闸板、调量螺杆等调节开度，精准控制出料流量； 3. 仓内防架桥筋板避免物料结块起拱堵料，保证落料均匀； 4. 直接落入挤出、注塑、混料主机进料口，纯重力送料，无需风机、负压抽吸等外力输送。 ### Main applicable materials Plastic pellets, resin particles, small granular food, chemical particles, spherical granular raw materials (not suitable for ultra-fine, high-viscosity, sticky powder easy to stick to walls).
