The PET Drying System for High-Speed Automatic Plastic Blow Molding Machine is a core auxiliary equipment specially designed for the two-step high-speed automatic PET blow molding production line. It integrates five core functions: airtight feeding, graded pre-crystallization, ultra-low dew point deep drying, airtight conveying and intelligent linkage, realizing fully automatic operation throughout the whole process without manual intervention. It is mainly used for deep dehydration and crystallization setting of PET chips/preforms before high-speed molding, solving the pain points that PET is easy to absorb moisture and hydrolyze and degrade during melting processing, and eliminating defects such as bubbles, fog spots and water marks on bottle bodies, thus perfectly adapting to the fast cycle requirement of 6-12 seconds per mold of high-speed molding blow molding machines. It is an indispensable core system for high-speed automatic PET blow molding production lines in food and beverage, cosmetics, pharmaceutical packaging and other industries.
### Core Positioning and Adaptation Scenarios
This system is customized for high-speed automatic plastic blow molding machines, with "high efficiency, stability, energy saving and full automation" as its core. It focuses on deep dehydration and crystallization setting of PET chips/preforms before molding. By accurately controlling the moisture content and crystallinity of chips, it ensures the stability of the high-speed blow molding process, improves the bottle quality and production efficiency, and realizes the automatic closed-loop linkage of the whole process from drying to blow molding. It is compatible with various high-speed linear and rotary automatic blow molding machines.
It is suitable for the following scenarios: high-speed automatic PET blow molding production lines (mineral water bottles, beverage bottles, oil bottles, cosmetics bottles, pharmaceutical packaging bottles, etc.); high-speed production scenarios with blow molding machine opening and closing cycle of 6-12 seconds per mold, mold cavity number of 12-48 (compatible with 96-cavity customized models) and production capacity of 0.5-8t/h; precision blow molding scenarios requiring PET chip moisture content ≤20ppm, crystallinity controlled at 25%~35%, and high bottle transparency without defects; workshops with high humidity (plum rain season, coastal areas), 24-hour continuous automatic production, and sensitivity to energy consumption and maintenance costs; and harsh scenarios for food and pharmaceutical packaging that require full closed-loop pollution prevention, no secondary moisture absorption and traceability.
### Core Working Principle (Fully Automatic Closed-Loop Operation)
Based on the principles of PET thermal crystallization kinetics and mass transfer dehydration, relying on the fully automatic control system, the system realizes the closed-loop operation of the whole process from raw material feeding to drying and conveying, seamlessly connecting with the high-speed molding blow molding machine. The specific working process is as follows, which is fully completed automatically without manual operation:
1. Automatic Airtight Feeding: PET chips (new materials/recycled materials) are automatically extracted from the raw material silo by a vacuum feeder, and enter the system hermetically through a lock air rotary valve. The level sensor monitors the thickness of the material layer in real time and automatically adjusts the feeding speed to prevent chip accumulation and uneven heating, avoid chip adhesion hidden dangers from the source, and isolate the ambient humid air.
2. Graded Pre-Crystallization Setting: The filtered ambient air is heated to 140~160℃ and uniformly sent from the air distribution plate at the bottom of the crystallizer to fully contact with the fluidized PET chips, completing the graded heating process of "normal temperature preheating → gradient crystallization", accurately increasing the chip crystallinity to 25%~35% (golden crystallization range), realizing chip setting and anti-adhesion, and initially desorbing the free water on the chip surface to lay the foundation for subsequent deep drying. The crystallization time can be automatically adjusted according to the chip characteristics.
